Consent Mode V2 is now here

We’ve now reached the first implementation deadline of the year for Consent Mode V2 – Google’s new guidelines for collecting and managing user data.

If you haven’t implemented this by today, you’ll lose access to features such as audience management and remarketing – both in Google Ads and GA4. This means that all audiences you’re currently working with will stop collecting data.

The easiest way to meet these requirements is to implement a cookie consent policy that includes built-in Consent Mode. Several third-party solutions offer this, such as Cookiebot.
