Google Analytics Training

Magnus Bråth

Google Analytics is an incredibly popular tool for tracking visitors on your website, and it’s clear that there is often a demand for training on how to use it. Google actually offers a really great free online course for those who want to learn more about Analytics.

Google Analytics is our own favorite when it comes to tracking visitors. There are many expensive solutions that don’t even come close to Google’s level of tracking, which is completely free. It can be difficult to get into for those who are not used to analyzing this kind of data, which is why training is often requested. We’ve held a few smaller training sessions on the subject (and are happy to do so), but more often than not, we recommend Google’s own training in their Analytics IQ Lessons.

In a series of simple and smart videos, they cover pretty much everything you need to know to keep track of everything related to your visitors. It’s also the foundation of what they call the Google Analytics Individual Qualification. In fact, if you go through Google’s videos and take the test (which costs a small fee), you will become a Qualified Individual and receive a diploma from Google. This usually means you’ll be just as skilled in Analytics as most educators on the subject.

Google’s training covers everything from the simplest parts, such as how to interpret the different views in Analytics, to setting up tracking for goals or e-commerce, and drawing really interesting conclusions.
