A question we often get, and a fairly common misconception, is about the interplay between SEO and AdWords. So, we thought we’d clear up the concepts a bit here.

How does it actually work? Do you get advantages in the organic results if you also buy AdWords? Is it cheaper to buy ads if you’re ranked first organically? What aspects of the optimization work are the same between the two systems, and when do you need to think a little extra to make sure both parts work well?
