Now we begin with Outreach

Magnus Bråth

At Brath, we always strive to push forward when it comes to quality and results. We are proud of what we deliver both in SEO and SEM. That’s why we are especially pleased to present news that takes Swedish search engine optimization to the next level.

Outreach SEO is the dominant model for SEO in the US and several other major countries. It is simply regular SEO where you work by contacting website owners so that they will link to the site you are working on. In Sweden, it has not had much impact, and there are several reasons for this.

There is a greater cost associated with Outreach compared to the satellite site model, which is the most common in Sweden. Due to a smaller market, it has been more difficult to get a good return. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Our view is that no one has yet done Outreach successfully in Sweden. There have been a few attempts, but they have either been so expensive that it was hardly worth it, or so ineffective that it was meaningless. It has either been about blog posts with “influencers,” which have limited value in Google’s eyes, or more or less comment spam.

From today, however, there is an effective and cost-efficient alternative. At Brath, we have spent the past few years fine-tuning a model for Outreach SEO that works—also financially. Based on the dozen or so sites we have worked with during the test phase, we can see three major advantages.

Who is Outreach SEO for?

Outreach SEO is still not for everyone. The results will be greater and more long-term than traditional SEO, but it requires that there is a market large enough to benefit from these improved results. The reason is that the initial cost is somewhat higher. If you know that you can reach a large market and get a good return on your marketing, then it’s time to consider Outreach.
