
A few days ago, Google announced some news regarding structured data. They have updated their “Organization” data type so we can now add more information, which in turn enables new types of enhanced search results!
The “Organization” data type could previously only be used to mark up a company logo and URL. It was therefore rather unnecessary, and many companies likely skipped marking this up on their pages. Now, it’s starting to resemble the information you can normally enter into your Google Business Profile.

By filling in all this, your company can appear more clearly in Google Search, while also building more trust signals (what the SEO world refers to as E-E-A-T). With more detailed contact information and company details, you prove that your business is legitimate and show how customers can get in touch.
So where is this information displayed? To the right of the search results, similar to a Google Business Profile. But here, the information is displayed based on what Google has retrieved from your structured data. It can look like this:
