We are acquiring Teveo – opening an office in Gothenburg

Brath is a company that wants to grow. We know we have a strong model and that we excel at the services we provide. Now it’s time to take the next step to Gothenburg. That’s why we are acquiring Teveo.

Teveo is an agency in Gothenburg offering SEO, Adwords, and Facebook advertising. That’s quite close to what we do. Currently, they are five people who all want to be part of something bigger — for them, Brath was the perfect fit.

The Gothenburg agency is already relatively well-known in the industry; they are partners with Google, Textalk, and several other reputable companies. This is because they have invested in being skilled craftsmen within digital marketing. If you’ve followed this blog, you know that this is exactly the approach we prefer to work with. Therefore, we envision Teveo fitting perfectly with Brath.

We are opening an office in Gothenburg

This acquisition means we will open a local office in Gothenburg. Both founders Andreas and Christian will stay on along with their team (Nicholas, Kasper, and Fabian) and continue the work they have been doing. The difference is that now they will have more support through Brath’s stronger resources.

We are convinced that our existing customers in Gothenburg will appreciate this, as will Teveo’s customers. It won’t really make much of a difference externally, except for even stronger delivery.

If you are one of our customers, or have been considering it, and are based in Gothenburg, you will now have a specialist closer to you. Often it’s good to meet face-to-face, and then it’s obviously nice not to have a consultant exhausted after a long trip — or just be able to drop by the office to go through an on-page review.

Magnus’ reflections

If I may reflect openly, the acquisition of Teveo is a good start. We are based further north in Sweden and even with an office in Stockholm, it has been difficult to fully reach the southern parts of the country — especially on the West Coast. It might be that people in and around Gothenburg appreciate proximity the same way we do here in the north — they prefer to buy locally. If that’s the case, a completely new door should open for Brath, and this is very timely since we have set aggressive growth plans for the next three years.

Over the last two years, we have focused heavily on stability and the backbone of our delivery. We have invested significantly in building systems and processes that improve the quality of our daily work. We have come far with that and are now ready to grow. You will read more about this in my public annual report here on the blog. Now it’s time to grow, and you will notice it — the Teveo acquisition is a great start.
