We want to be the best at search engine optimization

Aaron Axelsson

We want to be the best in Sweden at search engine optimization, and that has always been our goal. There is no way to be the best without putting in the effort; search engine optimization requires everything to fall into place. That’s why we work so hard.

This attitude shows in all areas. When we have internal training, it’s often already with the goal of getting further ahead of the competition. We set really high standards for every aspect of the SEO work we do, we make sure to get the very best texts available, we would never be careless with links, and we care about the details and are very meticulous.

When many are too aggressive in their link-building, we are extra cautious. We would never consider hammering anchor texts on a landing page, and we would never consider building sitewide links. It’s far too risky, and we don’t need to take that risk to claim positions. In our eyes, that’s what separates the best SEO from the mediocre. Really good SEO doesn’t require full-time employees (unless it’s extremely competitive), taking high risks, or endless workshops filled with flashy PowerPoint slides. All of that is for the SEO agencies, not for the clients.

As an SEO agency, you can increase your own revenue with the tactics mentioned above. If you make sure your clients link to you in the footer of their site, you increase your own revenue by increasing the client’s risk. Your positions improve, and the risk of the client ending up in a filter increases. Some are willing to do this; we are not.

Workshops are one of the industry’s favorite ways to get paid. You can charge a few thousand dollars in exchange for someone you just hired off the street, or someone from one of the subpar training programs, being sent off with a large bundle of PowerPoint slides. This is probably the single most useless thing you can buy. I don’t think anything valuable has ever come out of having a group of marketers listening to a Red Bull-energized high school graduate.

The third model for charging is handing a bunch of hours to an aging hippie from Kungsholmen who sits with the developers (or marketing assistants) at the company, wasting hour after hour. If you ever feel the need to hire an SEO consultant part-time, you should really think about what it would cost to go to a truly good agency instead. Since the consultant also needs a budget, they end up being about 10 times more expensive. Plus, they will most likely lack the specialists to fall back on when things get tough.

We want to be the best

We don’t want to deal with that silly SEO stuff, and we don’t need to. Our ambition is to be the best at what we do, and that means being the best for you.

If that sounds like it suits you, get in touch with us for an SEO quote.
